Combat Dehydration: A light lemonade with a little honey or brown sugar will relieve the thirst much better than a plain water.
Dry Skin Brushing: Get a dry vegetable fiber brush. Gently and vigorously brush from the toes up your feet and legs, then from your fingers up your arms and shoulders, always moving toward the heart. Skin brushing stimulates the lymph system and helps remove toxins.
Daily Massaging: To support easy detoxification, prepare a massage oil by adding several drops to an essential oil such as lavender, sandalwood and tea tree oil, and lemon-grass oil. Apply to feet, legs, arms, underarms, abdomen and back daily.
Rest and Recharge: Keep a regular sleep schedule, make sure you are getting at least 8 hours of sleep.
Exercise and Practice Stress Management: Exercise moderately. Take a walk, deep breathing, do yoga and stretching exercises, especially inverted postures, are beneficial.
Use Calming Herbal Teas: To relax your body and mind, sip warm hibiscus, Rose, Lemon grass, Chamomile, Tulsi-Ashwagandha or Ginseng Tea.
Regular bowel movement: The best laxative foods are cherries and grapes, then a little soaked or stewed prune
Fiber Up your diet: A good diet should include 35 to 50 grams of fiber per day. For best results, do not take acidophilus and supplemental fiber at the same time.
Replenish Friendly Gut-microbes: Try a different mix of probiotic foods so that you are consuming different types of microbes.
